Moreover, the IoT networks carry a lot of data and are closely connected to people. Thus, a high-security level is a necessity for future IoT devices.

A collective response towards cybercrimes is very necessary today. This requires global cooperation and effort.
Secondly, while we know the present challenges to cybersecurity because of research, the field has to become forward-looking. The researchers need to study and understand future networks and emerging technologies to map out future challenges. Cybercrime and breaches evolve at a high rate. Therefore, the cybersecurity and IoT sector has to go way ahead in devising futuristic solutions to anticipated problems.
Thirdly, different stakeholders have to work together to build scalable solutions that target particular problems. The security protocols and practices need an upgrade to build cyber resilience. The bottom line is that the IoT cybersecurity sector has to evolve further in the next few years.
