Inseego, the IoT device-to-cloud vendor, appoints Dicker Data as its first-ever Australian distributor. The decision comes as the US mobile and IoT solutions vendor plans to expand internationally.
The product range of Inseego includes mobile modems and hotspots, fixed wireless customer premises equipment (CPE), gateways, and routers that boost 4G as well as 5G connectivity. The customer base of the vendor includes distributors, enterprises, service providers, and consumers. The deal made with Dicker Data will cover all the product range of Inseego. The deal is expected to complement the Telstra products of the vendor and make 5G connectivity easily accessible to the reseller partners.
Peter Adamovic, APAC country manager of Inseego, states that they were in search of a partner to support them increase their presence in the Australian IT and enterprise markets. During their search, they found Dicker Data as the most suitable choice. He adds that they are an innovative and world-class distributor with strong expertise in the Australian market. Inseego was locally led by Peter Adamovic since January 2019.
Adamovic also adds that the Australian-owned business Dicker Data has a good understanding of how local firms can use 5G for the transformation of their businesses. Inseego is thrilled to collaborate with the team of Dicker Data to launch the products in the Australian market.
Dicker said that the products of Inseego extend the network edge of 5G and allow better 5G coverage, low latency, high data speed, and more secured internet access. Moreover, automatic failover will provide backup to the technology and ensure the availability of continuous connectivity.
Inseego will also offer the resellers of Dicker Data flexibility and a number of options to provide solutions that suit the specific needs of the customers.

Dicker Data has also recently extended its support to the Microsoft Surface portfolio and signed deals with Zoom and Jabra.
