The event would mark the gathering of many leaders in digital technology for discussion and exploration of diverse business opportunities in mainstream applications of IoT. The fourth IoT India Congress is slated to be organized across two days on August 22 and 23 this year and would be a huge attraction for digital technology enthusiasts all over the as well as all over the world.

The announcement of the dates for the 4th IoT India Congress was done at a conference held by The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) panel on Tuesday, 12th March 2019.
The Special secretary of Logistics for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, N Sivasailam, stated that cost effectiveness and mass marketing are the two focal points for the future of IoT. He also added that skill development will be accounted as a crucial factor in development, sustenance and performance of the overall IoT ecosystem.
According to reports on latest IoT news, the two-day event would have many key notes and sessions as well as hackathons and live zones. People would get ample opportunities for using and experiencing the mainstream applications of IoT and understand the various challenges to the same in different sectors. It has also been reported that the event would have a new addition titled "Future Tech Spotlight" which will give insights into the technology trends that can be expected over the next five or ten years.
