Avanti Communications is rapidly making its progress in the connectivity market of Africa. Avanti and HiSky have entered into a partnership agreement to expand the IoT services and reach out to the UK, Africa, Scotland, and the Middle East region. The companies will deliver IoT services to the interested parties operating in areas such as fisheries, fleet management, aggrotech, and asset management.
HiSky Ltd. is a leading service provider and developer of an agile and affordable IoT network. Avanti Communication is a reputed provider of quality and high throughput satellite capacity in the EMEA region. In fact, Avanti is also a leading HYLAS satellite fleet operator. HiSkyly Ltd. has collaborated with Avanti Communications to expand its IoT services to the Middle East, Africa, Scotland, and Great Britain.
The Smartellite IoT network of HiSky consists of huge base stations, a network management system (NMS) which is cloud-based, and satellite terminals. Smartellite can be deployed as a “network within a network” in the existing Ku- or Ka-GEO satellite ecosystem.
Through the deployment of HYLAS HTS Ka-Band beams of Avanti Communications in Scotland and the UK, both companies will be able to deliver IoT services to the prospects and partners in areas such as asset management, fisheries, aggrotech, fleet management, and more. It is likely to enable the companies to offer complementary services for effective cellular coverage.
Talking about the collaboration, the CBO of HiSky, Nitzan Raz, said that joining hands with Avanti Communications has enabled HiSky to enter and push its services into new markets and regions in the United Kingdom. The satellite services of HiSky will offer complementary solutions to different places that lack cellular coverage in an advanced and efficient way. He also added that right from the very beginning, the system of HiSky has been specifically designed to respond to the requirements of the IoT market. This enables the firm to provide its customers with monthly bundles at the most affordable prices in the satellite market.
Nitzan Raz stated that they are looking forward to collaborating and working with the different local partners in the geographical area. They are already visualizing the excellent opportunity for growth in the area that was not previously available prior to this partnership.
The Chief Operating Officer of Avanti Communications, Libby Barr, also commented relating to the partnership with HiSky Ltd. He stated that they believe everyone has the strong potential to accomplish all their goals and ambitions. The collaboration of Avanti with HiSky will bring in endless opportunities for the businesses that are operating in remote areas and help them achieve their business goals. Together with HiSky, Avanti Communications will be able to deliver the best quality IoT services to businesses that require effective solutions in the United Kingdom and Scotland. The two companies will empower the businesses in the region and help them efficiently match the evolving technological landscape in recent times. The collaboration will cater to the rise in demands for satellite connectivity in the popular IT markets.
