BAT-XL is basically a global tracking device that operates with a battery and leverages the LTE CAT-M1/ NB-IoT technology. The ruggedized design of BAT-XL incorporates aluminum mounting back, IP67 environmental ingress resistance, and enclosure ribs in order to increase the strength and rigidity during field use for a longer time. The notable features of the new device include field replacement battery, global deployment along with a single hardware SKU, sensor and location logging, and AWS IoT Core integration. The new device also facilitates effective remote device management with the use of the API, FOTA, or FusionIoT™ services.
The new device, BAT-XL, is designed to act as a Bluetooth Gateway solution or a standalone life-long tracker for the different BTM250-series beacon sensors. BAT-XL will act as a centerpiece of a comprehensive solution that offers better control and command in monitoring, configuring, and managing all the assets for a number of years. The new device launched by Mobilogix is considered to be an ideal device that will effectively meet all the needs of the various global organizations operating in diverse industries.
According to the EVP of Sales and Marketing of Mobilogix, Charlie Williams, with the launch of the new device named BAT-XL of Mobilogix, the different challenges relating to extreme temperatures and long field life have now become issues that are reserved for other trackers.
